πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Lucie Jones to appear on Waitress: The Musical Tour

Sugar, Butter, Flour, and a bit of music? Well if you’re interested to know more, then you’ll be pleased to know that UK’s Eurovision 2017 representative Lucie Jones will once again reprise her role “Jenna Hunterson” in the hit musical Waitress, on its UK & Ireland Tour from September 2021 until early February 2022. The news about her reprise was officially confirmed by the organizers of the musical.

Returning as “Jenna Hunterson” once again

This is not the first time that Lucie portrayed the role of Jenna Hunterson at the Waitress Musical. She potrayed the titular role from June 2019, up until January 2020, when she was replaced by Sara Bareilles, who wrote the music and lyrics for the musical up until March 2020. She was set to return to the until the end of its run on West End until July 2020, which unfortunately did not occur due to the pandemic.

For the tour, Lucie will also be joined by Sandra Marvin, Evelyn Hoskins, and Busted’s Matt Willis, who will be portraying Becky, and Dr. Jim Pommatter respectively. Lucie’s Eurovision Journey

In 2017, Lucie was selected to represent the UK via its national selection Eurovision: You Decide, with her song “Never Give Up On You”. During her time in the competition, she managed to place 15th (which is the UK’s second-best result in 2010s) where she scored 111 Points from the juries and viewers.
