After his successful return to Melodifestivalen earlier this year, Four-time Melodifestivalen participant and Eurovision 2011 star Eric Saade has released his new single ‘Like U Used To’. Eric’s latest single is the third song he has released in 2021. With the first being his Melodifestivalen 2021 entry “Every Minute” and the second being “DAY and NIGHT“, which was released before the Melodifestivalen 2021 final.
About “Like U Used To”
Upon the release of his new single, Eric revealed more about what the song is about, and how he liked how it all came together
“Like U Used To” is about the feeling that you slowly but surely become less and less loved, and that it can also be something that liberates a person. I love the mixture of melancholy in the lyrics, and the naive and quite happy music that the song owner!

Eric Saade competed at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, where he led Sweden to a third-place finish with his song ‘Popular’. earlier this year Eric took part in Melodifestivalen 2021 with his song ‘Every Minute’ where he finished in second place. Eric has also taken part in Melodifestivalen in 2010 with ‘Manboy and 2015 with the song ‘Sting’ on both occasions Eric finished in the top 3 of the national final.
