Today, the remaining ten participating countries of the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest are having their second rehearsal. These are Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Albania, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Serbia, Russia, and France.
In today’s rehearsal, the attending Press had the opportunity to watch the full rehearsals from these countries. Before we find out what happens in Azerbaijan’s rehearsal, let’s see how their first rehearsal went.
What happens during Sona’s performance?
We start off in the middle of the stage, where we Sona wearing a white dress, with Cyan and Blue lasers being projected in the background. Sona stays in the same position throughout the performance, where the lights and the projections on the screen change. The changes that take place are much more noticeable in the last verse, specifically towards the end of the song.

Azerbaijan’s Junior Eurovision Journey
The Land of Fire first competed in Junior Eurovision back in 2012, where they were represented by Suada Alakbarova and Omar Sultanov and the song “Girls and Boys (Dรผnya Sษnindir)” which placed 11th. Azerbaijan competed once again in 2013 and took a break for four years. Their recent participation in the competition saw them being represented by Fidan Huseynova with “I Wanna Be Like You” which placed 16th.
