🇧🇬 TES Preview: “Lights and Drapes” for Denislava & Martin’s rehearsal

Today, the remaining ten participating countries of the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest are having their second rehearsal. These are Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Albania, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Serbia, Russia, and France.

In today’s rehearsal, the attending Press had the opportunity to watch the full rehearsals from these countries. Before we find out what happens in Bulgaria’s rehearsal, let’s see how their first rehearsal went.

What happens during Denislava & Martin’s performance?

The performance starts off with Denislava & Martin, in a tent, where the camera zooms in on them, and as we reach the chorus of the song, they come out of the tent and walk towards the front. The stage is filled with drapes, and lights are in the LED background.

As we get to the second half of the song, both of them go through the drapes that are hanging on the stage and return to the middle of the stage. As the song closes, they both walk towards the front of the stage, where the lights point towards them at the end of the song.

Bulgaria’s Junior Eurovision Journey

In 2007, Bulgaria made its debut at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, where Bon-Bon represented them with the song “Bonbolandiya” (Бонболандия), where they placed 7th. Since their debut, they have participated six times, and have hosted the competition once in 2015.

Their latest participation was in 2016, where Lidia Ganeva represented Bulgaria in Valletta with “Magical Day (Valsheben den)” (Вълшебен ден), which placed 9th overall.
