Today, seven participating countries of the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest are having their second rehearsal. These are Albania, Ukraine, Malta, Italy, Serbia, Poland, North Macedonia and Portugal. The fifth up to complete their second rehearsal was Serbia’s Katarina Savić !
In today’s rehearsal, the attending Press had the opportunity to watch the full rehearsals from these participating countries at this year’s Junior Eurovision. Before we find out what happens in Serbia’s rehearsal today, you can find out how their first rehearsal went right here.

What happens during Katarina’s performance?
Katarins starts off the performance in a circular structure wearing white, with the stage lights surrounding the structure, whilst wearing a headset microphone. Katarina stays in the structure where her dance partner appears on stage. This continues on until the first bridge where a dress reveal shows Katarina wearing the same outfit but in Red, as his dance partner dances around the structure while Katarina plays the trombone. Towards the end of the song, Katarina and her dance partnet dance together where they end the song in the middle of the circular structure.

About Katarina Savić
Katarina Savić’s favorite musicians are Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, and BTS. The thirteen-year-old hails from Belgrade, where she was discovered after RTS’ open call for Junior Eurovision submissions. And she doesn’t only sing; Katerina also enjoys ballet dancing and playing her trombone.
Serbia’s Junior Eurovision Journey
In 2006, Serbia debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Neustrašivi učitelji stranih jezika and the song “Učimo strane jezike” (Учимо стране језике), which placed 5th. The Balkan nation competed until 2010, where it took a three-year break between 2011 and 2013. Since 2014, Serbia has continuously participated in the competition.
Serbia’s most recent participation in the competition in 2021, saw them being represented by Jovana and Dunja with the song “Oči Deteta (Children’s Eyes)” which placed 13th overall in the competition, where Serbia received 86 points from the jury and online voting.
