The Winners
Alexander Rybak & Annsofi – “No More Me and You”
The 2009 winner brings his violin to this ballad by Annsofi, who usually makes music as part of the duo Annsofi & Me. Alexander Rybak wrote and composed the song, which is about having to move on from a relationship because your partner fell for someone else.
Gali Atari – “ืืฉืืื ืืื ืืืคืฉื”
Gali Atari won Eurovision in 1979 and her music career is still going strong all these years later. For Valentine’s Day, she released new song “ืืฉืืื ืืื ืืืคืฉื” (When the heart is free). It’s a cheerful, groovy, retro track that also serves as a tribute to its composer Yitzhak Klepter, who passed away in December.
