Now That’s What I Call… The Extended Eurovision Universe

As any Eurovision megafan knows, Eurovision neither starts nor ends with the main contest. From National Final season introducing the world to new and exciting artists, to former Junior Eurovision artists, to the big-name songwriters and producers that work behind the scenes, people from all over the music industry make Eurovision the amazing thing that it is. Here are some of the best new releases by Eurovision-adjacent acts:

Benjamin – “Persikan perään”

Benjamin is going “Persikan perään” (After the peach) in this summery dance banger by the UMK2023 contestant. The track sees Benjamin work with Atso Soivio (who also worked on entry “Hoida Mut” and more) and Mikko Koivunen (prolific Finnish producer whose work with Pihlaja is perhaps best known).

Agoney – “Intacto”

We had to wait a little, but the “Quiero Arder” performer is back with a new track! “Intacto” (Intact) is another beat-heavy, club-ready, yet also moody-sounding pop track by the Spaniard. Spanish media write that the song is about the barrage of hateful messages people receive on social media, with Agoney singing that he is “enduring the blows because there is no pain anymore”.

Marcus & Martinus – “247365”

The Norwegian twins who set Melfest alight are back with new track “247365”. It’s another extremely catchy pop track. The song is about wanting someone to stop leading you along and just have a fun night together because you can’t get them out of your mind.

Browsing Collection – “Make Up Ur Mind” (EP)

Fellow Melfesters Browsing Collection have released their new EP “Make Up Ur Mind”. You can read more about it, including the songs on it, here:
