Today, further information about France’s hosting of Junior Eurovision 2023 has been revealed, with just about two months to go until the competition takes place in Nice.
Stages, hosts revealed!
First, the stage in which the 16 participants will be performing has been revealed. France Television has revealed that up to 5,000 spectators will be watching the event in Nice in November. The stage boasts a 30-metre centrepiece feature, a 12-metre high screen in the shape of wings, reflecting the desire to fly away, create and imagine.
The next thing we found out is the hosts, which will be Olivier Minne and Laury Thilleman. If Olivier is a familiar face? Then You are correct, as Olivier hosted the 2021 edition of the competition in Paris alongside Carla and Élodie Gossuin.
Laury Thilleman is a journalist, model, presenter and actress and was the winner of Miss France in 2011, and has hosted events such as the Victoires de la Musique and the Fête de la Musique.
Another thing that was revealed is that the opening ceremony will be taking place on the 20th of November at Le Negresco, with the event being broadcasted on France 4 and the official Junior Eurovision Youtube Page.
