Ahead of the reveal of the participants of Eesti Laul 2024, the jurors who assessed the 215 submissions ERR has received were revealed.

ERR has revealed that 41 jurors assessed the submissions, which composed of artists, authors, producers, music teachers representatives of TV, radio, music organisations, modern platforms who are music lovers and are as follows:

Spekaing about the jury, the editor-in-chief of ERR’s experience programs, Karmel Killandi has mentioned the following:
This year’s jury is the largest in the history of Estonian Song and represents the full palette of the Estonian music world. Together, the experience of Estonian Song and Eurovision, the perspective of classical and pop music, producers, listeners and people whose work passes within music. We are extremely grateful to the jury for their work, because it there were definitely several days of good listening.
With the reveal of the jurors, ERR has revealed that the 15 semi-finalists will be revealed on November 6, whilst the 5 finalists who have pre-qualified for the final will be revealed on November 7. The reveal will take place on Ringvaade.
Estonia’s Eurovision Journey
Estonia has appeared at almost every Eurovision since their debut in 1994. They won the contest once with Tanel Padar, Dave Benton and 2XL in 2001, singing Everybody. Other notable Estonian entrants include 3rd placer Sahlene with Runaway in 2002 and Ines with Once In A Lifetime in 2000, who placed 4th. More recently, their highest-placing entries have been Urban Symphony with Rändajad in 2009 and Ott Lepland with Kuula in 2012, both of which finished in 6th place.
In 2023, Estonia elected to send Alika through Eesti Laul to the Contest with “Bridges”. She successfully qualified for the final and finished in 8th place with 168 points. Alika finished with 146 points from the juries and an additional 22 points from the televote.
