With Christmas just around the corner, the release of festive music continues on. This time, it is Marcus & Martinus’ turn as they release their festive contribution “Christmas To Me”.
About “Christmas To Me”
Marcus & Martinus collaborated with Fredrik Kempe, David Kreuger and Niklas Carson Mattsson for their latest release. Upon the release of the song the duo talked about how the song came about, and how Christmas is their favourite holiday as well as revealing their favourite christmas songs.
We are a great team and funnily enough this Christmas song came on a warm late summer day in August.
During Christmas we usually go on a trip, go cross-country skiing and have a barbecue in a snowdrift. We are very family-oriented and it is nice to be able to gather the whole family and spend quality time with each other, especially for us who travel so much for work. It’s the one occasion a year when you can let go of everything else and just focus on the family and have a great time together, eat good food and listen to good music . Our favorite Christmas songs, apart from “Christmas To Me”, are classics like ” Driving Home to Christmas ” and ” Holy Night”.

Marcus & Martinus’ Melodifestivalen Journey
Earlier this year, Marcus & Martinus participated in Sweden’s Eurovision 2023 selection Melodifestivalen with their entry “Air”, which managed to qualify directly to the final. Overall, they placed 2nd in the competition, just behind Loreen. At the time of writing the duo is rumoured to be one of the participants in Melodifestivalen 2024.
