About Hydrogen
Formed whilst the members were in their teens, Hydrogen is an indie-alt rock band, with pop punk influences from Novi Sad in Northern Serbia, Originally releasing songs such as “Tell your cat I said hi” and “Been a Minute or Two” in English, inspired by the success of Slovenia’s joker out, they released their PZE entry “Nemoguća Misija” as their first Serbian language song after being repeatedly compared to the group by friends and fans alike.
Serbia’s Eurovision Journey
In 2007, Serbia made its debut as an independent country, having previously participated as part of Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. There, they were represented by Marija Šerifović with “Molitva”, which won the competition in Serbia’s first year competing.

At this year’s competition, Serbia qualified for the Grand Final, where they placed 24th. At the close of voting, Luke Black had received 30 points – 14 coming from the jury and 16 from the televote.
