It’s national final season o’clock, with more news and and NF songs coming out than you can shake a stick at. But that is not all, as the rest of the record industry is also busy as always, offering a nice distraction from the busyness and bombast that is this time of the year. So let’s settle into this round-up of new music from Eurovision and beyond. This edition includes: club bangers, surprises, and onions!

5MIINUST x Florian Wahl x Jozels – “pilates spiritual clüb”
Coming with yet another eclectic electronic collab this month are 5MIINUST. “pilates spiritual clüb” is a pounding, club ready track that sees the Estonian group team up with Florian Wahl and Jozels. Energetic, entertaining, catchy, this song is just a very fun time.
MUSTII – “MOONDUST”
Remember MUSTII’s excellent album from last month? It included a song called “MOONDUST (PART 2)”, and now the first part of that song is out too! Both parts are fairly similar, although the new one is longer than Part 2 and just does a bit more overall.
Joost Klein – “funny onion song”, “Why Not???
Sometimes songs are exactly what they say on the tin and I can report that this is that. This feels like a YouTube Poop extended and remixed and that is genuinely a massive compliment, even if it isn’t my usual musical wheelhouse. Fans of Joost Klein and onions will love this, and I have listened to this song more than I ever thought I would based on the title.
He followed this up with the much more normal “Why Not???”, which goes pop-punk before turning to his more usual style for a pretty successful end result, at least to me!
Baby Lasagna – “Stress”
It is a stressful period for many of us, including Baby Lasagna, who has steadily been releasing new music. His latest feels like a real throwback to the latter days of Kerrang pop-punk, where the energy mellowed a bit and chant-along woah-woahs get the chorus stuck in your brain. A fun little throwback that I can see being a real fun time during live performances.
Marcus & Martinus – “Wonder”
“Wonder” is the latest offering from the Norwegian twins, and I really don’t have much to say about it. It is a slick piece of pop music that sounds like it was designed for lots of radio play and probably will get it too. The song’s producers Victor Sjöström (Jubël, Tiësto, Lisa Ajax) and Sebastian Atas (Klara Hammarström, Benjamin Ingrosso, Anis Don Demina)
İlkin Dövlətov, Nazpəri Dostəliyeva – “Sevə Bilmək”
Is İlkin ever not recording music? His latest is “Sevə Bilmək” (Ability To Love), a duet with Nazpəri Dostəliyeva. It’s a very traditional feeling and sounding song, although the Adil Rəkidi-penned track does have a certain pop sensibility to it melodically. Surprisingly fun!
Olly Alexander – “When We Kiss”
The pre-releases for Olly Alexander’s upcoming album “Polari” continue, with this month “When We Kiss”. This is a fairly traditional pop track, with heavy influences from the 80s and 90s throughout.
Marina Satti – “Epano Sto Trapezi”
After releasing a really good surprise last month, Marina Satti now returns to something closer to her usual sound. “Epano Sto Trapezi” is a bit more club- and hyperpop than Satti’s usual output, but still slots in nicely along the rest of her discography and fans of her will surely love this.
Kaleen – “Knocking On Heaven’s Door”
This is not Kaleen’s cover of the Guns N’ Roses track, but another dancefloor filling track. The song is, as the visualizer below implies, part of a bigger upcoming release.
ISAAK – “Happy Tears”
Also showing up with new music this month is ISAAK, who released “Happy Tears”. It is pretty similar to the rest of his discography.
Tali – “Dear Parents”
