With countries continuing to release their numerous revamps for Eurovision 2025, Laura Thorn has revealed her revamp for the Contest. She will sing an updated version of her song “La poupée monte le son” in Basel.

Revamp features new elements

In the revamp, which was released on Tuesday (March 18th), the instrumentation of the song has changed. Now, new elements such as intense strings can be heard in the second verse of the song. As well as this, the revamp scraps disjointed cuts between the verses and the chorus, helping to create a stronger flow of the song.

A music video is due to be released on the official Eurovision Youtube channel in the coming days. Shots from behind the scenes of the video recording show more dance routines and less reliance on the doll imagery as seen in the national final. The music video will be added here when it is published.

Luxembourg’s Eurovision journey

Luxembourg first made its debut in the first edition of the Contest in 1956, with their first entries being “Ne crois pas” and “Les Amants de minuit”, both performed by Michèle Arnaud. Since the first Contest, Luxembourg has competed a total of 38 times. Their best result was finishing in 1st place five times – in 1961, 1965, 1972, 1973 and 1983 respectively.

Luxembourg returned to the contest for the first time in 31 years in 2024. Tali represented Luxembourg in Malmö, with the song “Fighter” bringing Luxembourg their first semifinal qualification–since they last participated before the semifinal system even existed! In the Grand Final, “Fighter” received 103 points: 83 from the national juries, and 20 from the televoters.
