Eurovision in Basel is just less than a month away. In the lead-up to the start of rehearsals, we will get to know a bit more about this year’s artists, their discography, and their Eurovision 2025 journey so far. Up next, we will preview San Marino’s Gabry Ponte.
Gabry Ponte’s Eurovision Journey So Far
In line with recent years San Marino selected Gabry Ponte to represent them in Basel, via its selection ‘San Marino Song Contest’. Before taking part in the contest, the song was used as the official theme song of the Italian Music Festival ‘Sanremo’. In Eurovision 2025, it has been revealed that Gabry Ponte will be performing eleventh in Semi-Final One on May 13.
San Marino will be participating in Eurovision 2025 with “Tutta L’Italia” which was written by Andrea Bonomo, Edwyn Roberts and Gabriele Ponte.

Who is Gabry Ponte?
Gabry Ponte is an Italian DJ, who is mostly known for being a member of Eiffel 65, and their entry “Blue (Da Ba Dee)”, which has sold over eight million copies worldwide. Outside of this, Gabry is one of the top three most-streamed Italia artists worldwide, he is also a Grammy-nominee, and have numerous multi-platinum songs.
Prior to his participation as a sole artist at Eurovision 2025, Gabry Ponte is not new to the Eurovision scene, he was a songwriter for Austria’s 2022 Eurovision entry “Halo” by LUM!X and Pia Maria, as well as doing a remix of Norway’s Eurovision 2023 entry “Queen of Kings“
San Marino’s Eurovision Journey
As one of the smallest countries in Europe, San Marino made its debut in the competition in 2008 with Miodio and the song “Complice”. Since then they have participated in the competition 14 times, qualifying for the grand final in three. Their best result was in 2019, with Serhat and “Say Na Na Na”.
Spanish band Megara represented San Marino in 2024 with the song “11:11”. They failed to qualify from the second semifinal, placing fourteenth and receiving sixteen points from the televote.
