🇨🇿/🇱🇻 Vesna and Tautumeitas release collaboration “She Dances With The Sun”

Just a day after releasing their fifth studio album, Latvia’s Eurovision 2025 representatives Tautumeitas have collaborated with Czechia’s Eurovision 2023 representatives Vesna on the song “She Dances With The Sun”

About “She Dances With The Sun”

“She Dances With The Sun” is a collaboration between Vesna and Tautumeitas, and features lyrics in English, Czech and Latvian. Fun fact, the two groups were first brought together by recommendation of fellow Eurovision alumni Sudden Lights!

The song is part of Vesna’s project “FEMALE ANTHEMS” which, according to the band, “connects female voices from different corners of the world while reviving disappearing ethnic music traditions in a modern pop-electronic sound.”

In a post on their Instagram page, Vesna said of the new release:

The new single is a celebration of female power, sensuality, and the summer solstice. The fusion of fire, sun, and feminine energy is also reflected in the visual artwork created by Eliška Sky

Tautumeitas’ Eurovision Journey

Tautumeitas were announced as one of the competing entries in Latvia’s Supernova with the song “Bur Man Laimi” back in November. They would go on to qualify from the semi-final before winning the selection, finishing on a total of 18 points, beating out Emilija and Citi Zēni on a tiebreak.

During the allocation draw, Latvia were drawn to compete in the first half of the second semi-final, and were later placed in the running order to perform in fourth position.
