Ukraine’s national broadcaster Suspilne has confirmed the guest acts set to appear during Vidbir 2026 that will decide the country’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.

Who are they?

Suspilne has announced that the following artists will perform as guest acts during the Vidbir 2026 final:

  • The show will open with a performance by Ziferblat, winners of Vidbir 2025 and Ukraine’s representatives at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel. The band will revisit their Eurovision entry “Bird of Pray”, which secured a 9th-place finish last year and will feature as part of the traditional finalists’ parade.
  • A special segment will then focus on Junior Eurovision, led by Svitlana Tarabarova, the music producer of Natsvidbir na Dytiache Yevrobachennia. She will be joined on stage by Ukraine’s three most recent Junior Eurovision representatives — Sofiia Nersesyan, Artem Kotenko, and Anastasia Dymyd. Adding emotional weight to the performance, musicians from the Superhumans Center will also take part.
  • Another highlight of the night will bring together Zlata Ognevich, a member of the Vidbir jury and Ukraine’s Eurovision 2013 representative, alongside TVORCHI, who competed for Ukraine at Eurovision 2023. The artists will collaborate on a mash-up combining “One Day” and “Bonfire”.
  • Later in the show, Jamala, jury member, Eurovision 2016 winner, and music producer for Vidbir 2026, will deliver a performance of her iconic winning song “1944”, accompanied by the Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
  • Closing the lineup of guest performances, Satoshi, Moldova’s representative for Eurovision 2026, will make a special appearance. Marking a rare moment for Vidbir, the show will welcome an international guest, with Satoshi performing “Viva, Moldova!”, the song he will take to the Eurovision stage in Vienna.

Ukraine’s Eurovision journey

Ukraine is one of the most successful countries to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. The country has scored nine top-five placements, with an extra four top-ten finishes. Ukraine won the Contest three times – in 2004, 2016 and 2022 respectively. Ukraine made history by being the first ex-Soviet country to win the Contest more than once.

In 2025, Ziferblat represented Ukraine in Basel with their song “Bird of Pray”. The band finished in 9th place, scoring 218 points – of which 60 points came from the jury, whilst the remaining 158 points came from the televote.
