🇫🇮 Erika Vikman releases her new single “Father (I Will Never Confess)”

Erika Vikman has just released a new single called “Father (I will Never Confess)”.

About “Father (I Will Never Confess)”

Erika said:

Father (I Will Never Confess) contain references to the fear of God. I have seen firsthand how religion can negatively influence how people see other people. I have had friends from strong religious backgrounds in my close circle and as a child I was scared of hell a lot, so this theme has remained strongly in my mind. Religion can be used to scare and control people, which is absolutely terrible and wrong, because religion is supposed to be a beautiful thing.”

She continues:

In this song, I have come to the conclusion that I can no longer apologize for who I am and the mistakes I have made. We celebrate who we are as an individual, even if it is not perfect or acceptable in everyone’s eyes. The song is for everyone who feels like an outsider in their life or that they are being judged. Let’s accept together that we are ‘such a mess’”
