Ahead of her participation in Pesma za Evroviziju 2026 (PZE), Serbia’s selection for Eurovision 2026, Tetiana had the opportunity to speak with Đurđica, who is making her debut in this year’s competition with her entry “Moma mala”.

In conversation with Tetiana, Đurđica revealed the vast and important message carried by Moma mala, shares her opera career highlights and names her favorite classical operas. She also talks about JJ in the professional environment and invites to listen to and watch her performance on February 24th. “Moma mala” is an ethno-electronic ballad taking place in the forests where the mother nature preserves life.
Get to know Đurđica
Kruševac born Đurđica Gojković is an opera singer based in Vienna. Đurđica moved to Austria to pursue her career goals 10 years ago and not only did she get to achieve all of them, but found her best friends and family in Vienna.She completed her opera studies at the prestigious Richard Wagner Conservatory and has been singing for different opera shows for many years. Amongst the venues she performed at are Hofburg Palace, Musikverein (Golden Hall) and Chamber Opera; Syncron Stage and performances in the Crypt Opera House (her professional path did intersect with JJ’s, the Eurovision winner from Austria). Additionally, Đurđica is engaged in the Departments of Conducting and Church music at University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
English aside, Đurđica speaks Macedonian, Spanish and German.
Serbia’s Eurovision journey
In 2007, Serbia made its debut as an independent country, having previously participated as part of Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. There, they were represented by Marija Šerifović with “Molitva”, which managed to win the competition. Since their debut, Serbia has participated 16 times (13 of which, where they qualified for the Grand Final).
Princ represented Serbia at Eurovision 2025 in Basel with his song “Mila”. At this year’s competition, Serbia failed to qualify for the Grand Final, finishing in fourteenth place with 28 points in the semi-final.
