2026 national final artists

🇺🇦 LAUD – “Добре, що мама не знає (Original Soundtrack)”

At the close of voting in Ukraine’s 2026 edition of Vidbir, LAUD, with the song “Lightkeeper” was just 2 points behind eventual winner Leléka. The singer had previously attempted to represent Ukraine at Eurovision, but so far, 2nd place in the national final is his best achievement. The newest release from LAUD is “Добре, що мама не знає”, which features on the soundtrack for new Ukrainian crime comedy movie Добре, що мама не знає (Good thing mum doesn’t know), due to be released in October. The track is a jazzy, funk record that sounds like a perfect movie soundtrack for a Ukrainian dark comedy!

🇲🇹 Mark Anthony Bartolo – “Take It’

Mark Anthony Bartolo has competed in Malta’s MESC national final 4 times so far. The singer-songwriter and music educator debuted in the selection show in 2022 with his song “Serenity”. His highest placement, and most recent performance in the MESC contest, came in 2026, when Bartolo performed “Mumenti sbieħ”, finishing 4th in the final that year. The newest release from the singer is guitar ballad “Take It”. The track is a beautiful vocal performance, layered over an acoustic guitar rhythm. The song was written and performed by Bartolo, with him also playing the instruments on the record. The 31 year old Maltese musician has found success online since the 2026 edition of MESC with his social media videos. It will be interesting to see a possible return to MESC for Bartolo anytime in the near future.

🇱🇹 NØRA BLU – “Vakaras Ilgas”

Lithuania’s NØRA BLU made it through to the final of the Eurovizija.LT selection show via the wildcard round in 2026, with the song “Hold My Own”. The singer would eventually place 3rd in the contest, behind only SHWR and Lion Ceccah. NØRA’s latest single see her collaborate with Lithuanian DJ and radio host Jovani on “Vakaras Ilgas”. It is a great EDM track that shows off her vocal talents.

🇱🇺 Andrew the Martian – “Graveyard of Grudges”

Andrew the Martian debuted in the Luxembourg Song Contest (LSC) in 2026, with his big pop-dance hit “I’m The Martian”. Latest single from the Portuguese singer, who has lived in Luxembourg since 2013, is in a similar style to his LSC entry. Like “Im The Martian”, “Graveyard of Grudges” mixes pop vocals, rap and an EDM drop. It is not quite as upbeat or as uptempo, but is still a decent release from the artist.

🇳🇴 Gothminister – “MY REVENGE”

Gothminister has been a gothic metal band in the Norwegian music scene since the 1990s. In 2024, the band competed in the Melodi Grand Prix selection show with the song “We Come Alive”, making it through to the final. They had previously competed in the show in 2013, and once again entered MGP in 2026 with “The Spell”, but failed to make it through the wildcard round to the final. The band’s latest single “MY REVENGE” is classic goth metal, with heavy guitar riffs and insane drum beats. The chorus of “MY REVENGE” will be ringing in your ears for a while. The latest single from the band comes ahead of their upcoming album, “WE ARE ALL DEMONS”, due in October.

🇵🇹 Dinis Mota – “Se Esta Vida”

Portugal’s Dinis Mota placed 2nd in the 2026 edition of their national final Festival Da Canção with his song “Jurei”. The singer had stated before the final of the contest that if he were to win, he would not attend the Song Contest in Vienna due to Israel’s continued participation in Eurovision. The singer has released a full length album earlier in the year, and is now back with a brand new single. “Se Esta Vida” is a great piece of Portuguese indie-pop. It has style, class and a grand amount of clapping. What’s not to love!?

🇳🇴 Leonardo Amor – “18 Years”

Leonardo Amor placed 5th in Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix earlier in 2026 with his song “Prayer”. The young singer is back with a new single, “18 Years”, which is every bit as emotional as his MGP entry, if not more so. The track is a beautiful, personal love song to his younger self. It pulls at the heartstrings and shows Leonardo’s talented vocal abilities.

🇱🇹 Noy – “Laikas – pinigai”

2 time Eurovizija.LT entrant Noy has a new single. “Laikas – pinigai” features producer domini. and is a vibey, electro-RnB track. It combines electro-jazz-funk with RnB and Lithuanian rap. The song is different to both of his Lithuanian national final entries (2025 and 2026). Its funky. Its disco. Its cute. Give it a try.

2025 national final artists

🇺🇦 Fiïnka – “Там, де музика”

Ukrainian singer and actress Fiïnka has appeared in Ukraine’s national selection show multiple times, most recently in 2025 with the track “Kultura”. She placed fifth in Vidbir with “Kultura” and has continued to release music to large success. Latest single from the singer “Там, де музика” sees her team up with up and coming Ukrainian TV and music star VLADA K. The track is a great mix of hip-hop and Ukrainian sounds.

🇱🇹 Rūta Budreckaitė – “Per marias”

Rūta Budreckaitė made an appearance in the 2025 edition of Eurovizija.LT with the song “Tai Kur Namai”. Unfortunately, the singer didn’t make it out of the first heat of the national final, but “Tai Kur Namai” remains one of the favourite non-qualified songs. Her latest single “Per marias” is only the second release from the singer since her appearance at Eurovizija.LT, and is her first release of 2026. It is a beautiful, country inspired, Lithuanian, indie-pop track. If you liked “Tai Kur Namai”, it has a slightly different sound but is still wonderfully produced and performed. Another appearance from Budreckaitė in Lithuania’s national final is very much needed!

🇱🇻 Markus Riva – “VASARA (Vēl Vairāk)”

Markus Riva is a name any eurofan who has watched pretty much all of the recent Supernova national finals in Latvia. He has appeared at almost every edition of the national final in the country since his debut in 2014. His best placements in Supernova came in 2015 with the song “Take Me Down” and in 2019 with “You Make Me So Crazy”, which both came 2nd. His most recent performance at the national selection show was in 2025 with “Bigger Than This”, which placed 8th. The latest new music from Markus is “VASARA (Vēl Vairāk)”, an 8 track mini album featuring 4 new songs and 4 remixes. All the songs on the record are Summery, dancey and vibes. Markus Riva continues to be one of the busiest men in the Eurovision sphere, with 3 singles and an EP already released so far in 2026, and now adds “VASARA (Vēl Vairāk)” to that list.

🇵🇹 Fernando Daniel – “Emocional”

Fernando Daniel was one of the fan favourites of the 2025 edition of Portugal’s Festival Da Canção. The singer eventually placed 3rd in the national final with his song “Medo”, but has found huge success in Portugal since his participation. The newest release from the singer is “Emocional”, a love-song / ballad with a country twang that shows off Fernando’s talents. Its not quite as immediately grabbing as “Medo”, but still a beautiful track.
