🇪🇪 ALIKA – “kissitavad silmad”
Estonia’s 2023 singer ALIKA features on singer / rapper säm’s latest single “kissitavad silmad”. The pair had previously worked together on “parasiit”, which reached no.6 on the Estonian charts in 2025, and are now back with another banger! The song is a dance / electro-rap track that mixes ALIKA and säm’s vocals brilliantly. It has an electronica-disco edge to the track, as well as using säm’s usual dance-rap style. The new track was composed and produced by Steven Ilves, who worked on “parasiit”, as well as working with Eesti Laul alumni STEFAN, Grete Paia and Carlos Ukareda in recent years. If you like your Eesti music dancey, this one is for you.
🇦🇿 Nadir Rustamli – “Təsirli Bənd – Akustik”
Azerbaijan’s 2022 Eurovision singer Nadir Ristamli has released an acoustic version of his recent single “Təsirli Bənd”. The “Fade To Black” singer released “Təsirli Bənd” earlier in the summer, and is back with a new take on the song. It combines his distinctive vocals with some interesting instrumentals. If you enjoy the specific sound coming from many artists in the Caucasus region, this might be for you. The original version of the song is enjoyable, but this new acoustic release really is quite piercing.
🇷🇸 Sara Jo (Moje 3) – “Dublje”
Sara Jovanović represented Serbia in the Song Contest in Malmö in 2013, with the band Moje 3 and the song “Ljubav je svuda”. The trio just missed out on a spot in the Grand Final, placing 11th in Semifinal 1. Moje 3 also infamously received the Barbara Dex Award for the worst dressed act of 2013. Sara returned to the Serbian national selection show Pesma Za Evroviziju (PZE) as a solo artist in 2022, performing the track “Muškarčina” as Sara Jo. Going into the final of PZE 2022, Sara was the bookies favourite to take the win, but unfortunately, she missed out on the top spot, being beaten only by Eurovision legend Konstrakta. Since then, Sara has released a string of singles, as well as a full length album “Bez Kontrole”, in 2023. “Dublje” is Sara’s first release of 2026, and sees the singer take on a different sound. The song is almost in a Balkan, Summer-House style, and the sound of the ocean can be heard throughout “Dublje”. The track was written and produced with the help of Slobodan Veljkovic, who has previously worked with the likes of Teya Dora, Ana Nikolić and Coby. The Balkan artists are really coming with the Summer vibes this week!
🇵🇱 Donatan & Cleo – “LUBIMY – FOLK REMIX”
Hip-hop producer and DJ Donatan and Polish singer Cleo gave an infamous butter-churning performance of “My Slowianie” on the Eurovision stage in 2014. The pair have continued to collaborate on music releases in the years following, and earlier in 2026 they released “LUBIMY”. This week, Donatan & Cleo release the folk remix of the single, taking the track from a heavy trap / EDM record into a more traditional Polish folk sound. The video is absolutely something to witness.
🇦🇺 Kate Miller-Heidke – “A Certain Panic”
Australia’s Kate Miller-Heidke is back with two new songs, ahead of the release of her album “The Kiss And The Abyss”, due August 14th. Miller-Heidke came 9th for Australia in the Eurovision Grand Final in 2019 with her song “Zero Gravity”. Since then, the artist has gone on to find huge success across the globe, but particularly in Australia. In 2024, she replaced Eurovision’s Jessica Mauboy as a judge on The Voice Australia, as well as releasing a handful of new music. Her latest album is due later in the summer, but the first two singles from the record are out now. “A Certain Panic” tells the story of an influencer who told Kate her life story in the queue for the toilets of the Logies award show. “Holiday” is a whimsical, self critical and social commentary song about needing a holiday so much that you end up sabotaging your own enjoyment. Both tracks are great pieces of work from Miller-Heidke, and the upcoming album is sure to be exciting too!
🇦🇲 Iveta Mukuchyan – “Amena Amena”
Iveta Mukuchyan became somewhat of a fan favourite in Eurovision circles when she placed 7th in the Contest in Stockholm with the song “LoveWave”. She has gone on to have a long career in both Armenia and Germany, where she lives. In 2017, she collaborated with fellow Armenian Eurovision entrant Aram Mp3 on “Dashterov”, which went on to win Song Of The Year in Armenia. In 2022, she hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, held in Yerevan. She also featured in the music video for Simón’s 2026 Eurovision entry “Paloma Rumba”. Iveta released the album “Who Am I” earlier in the year, and has now dropped a new single, “Amena Amena”. The track begins with a spoken word monologue in English, that almost feels Madonna-esque. The song then goes on to be a pop-rap-electronia vibe, ending with the spoken word phrase in English ‘I am enough’. It is a great track from the singer.
🇨🇾🇬🇷 Anna Vissi – “OLO PIO PANO”
Anna Vissi has the rare accolade of having represented both Cyprus and Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest. The singer performed “Mono i agapi” for Cyprus at the Contest in Harrogate in 1982. She also performed “Autostop” in 1980 and “Everything” in 2006 for Greece. The latest single from Anna, “OLO PIO PANO”, sees her once again collaborate with writer and composer Nikos Karvelas on a big Greek-Cypriot EDM / Eurodance banger. It’s high energy. Its camp. Its summer. It’s a bit of a hit.
🇷🇸 Željko Joksimović – “Tanana : Summer Vibe 2026”
Željko Joksimović has a long history with the Eurovision Song Contest. The Serbian singer came 2nd at the Contest in Istanbul for Serbia & Montenegro in 2004, with “Lane Moje”, which is often regarded as the best Balkan song to not win the contest. After Marija Šerifović won the contest for Serbia in 2007, Joksimović was appointed as one of the hosts of live Eurovision shows in Belgrade. He also went on to represent Serbia in 2012, with the song “Nije ljubav stvar”, ultimately placing 3rd in the Grand Final in Baku. Željko Joksimović has also acted as a songwriter for some of the Balkan’s biggest successes in Eurovision. Songs which feature Željko Joksimović on the writing credits include Bosnia & Herzegovina’s 2006 entry “Lejla”, Serbia’s 2008 host entry “Oro”, and Montenegro’s 2015 song “Adio”. It’s safe to say that Željko Joksimović is a legend not just in the Balkans, but within the Eurovision community too. His latest single, “Tanana” follows other releases in his “Summer Vibe 2026” project. This latest single is a much more electronica synth sound for Željko, but still showcases the recognisable, bass-y, Blakan voice we know and love him for.
🇦🇱Ronela Hajati – “ZIA”
Ronela has appeared in 3 consecutive new music round-ups now. The busiest diva in Albanian music has a new single with long-time collaborator Emra Brah. “ZIA” is a contemporary Albanian RnB record. Ronela shows once again that she has talent and drive and she isn’t afraid to keep on using both.
🇧🇦 Dino Merlin – “Zbog tebe”
Dino Merlin is widely regarded as one of the greatest musical talents to emerge from the former Yugoslav Republic. He was the founding member of Sarajevo based rock group ‘Merlin’ before embarking on a solo career after some of the band were killed during the Bosnian war. The government of Bosnia & Herzegovina invited Dino to write and create the states national anthem early in his solo career, and the track was used as the state anthem until the late 1990s. Dino has also found time to appear at Eurovision 3 times in his lengthy career. He was the writer and one of the performers of Bosnia & Herzegovina’s debut entry in the Contest in Millstreet, Ireland in 1993. He returned to the Contest in 1999 alongside Béatrice Poulot with the song “Putnici”. He again returned to the Contest in 2011, with the song “Love In Rewind” which would finish 6th in the Grand Final in Düsseldorf. Dino’s latest single “Zbog tebe” is a classic Balkan track from the singer, released as a thank you gift to his fans ahead of his run of summer stadium concerts.
🇦🇱🇸🇮 Elhaida Dani & Tinkara Kovač – “Music For TV”
Italian composer and sound engineer Vito Leonardo Tritto has released his latest compilation of music, “Music For TV”. The album contains a number of orchestral songs, but also contains features from 2 Eurovision artists. Albania’s 2015 participant Elhaida Dani features on the tracks “Love Is Not Love”, “Ti verrò a cercare” and “Thunder”. Slovenia’s 2014 Eurovision artist Tinkara Kovač appears on the songs “Love Is Not Love” and “The Call”. This is a bit of a strange release to have on this list, given the nature of the album, but nevertheless there’s two Eurovision links here so it is making the list! Vocally, both Elhaida and Tinkara sound great on the record. I’m not sure any of these will be songs you’re likely to have on a playlist or hear at euroclub anytime soon, but if you like either artist, check it out.
