Things are pacing up in the Philippines, as ABS-CBN has released previews of the entries participating in their selection, ‘Philippine Selection Night’ 2026, which will take place on Sunday, August 30. The participating entries were first revealed at a listening event, which took place in the ELJ Communications Center at ABS-CBN’s headquarters in Quezon City, Philippines.

Our friends at Pilipinas Calling also attended the listening event, where it was revealed that award-winning host Vice Ganda will be hosting the selection, with the Philippines’ representative being selected with a combination of 40% Jury, 40% Local Vote, 20% Rest of the World Vote.
The Philippines will select its Eurovision Asia representative on August 30 at 21:45PST, the selection will air locally on Kapamily Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, ALLTV, A2Z, iWant, Myx Digital, TFC International, and internationally on the official Eurovision YouTube Channel.
What we know about Eurovision Asia 2026
Early this year, EBU and Voxovation have confirmed the launch of Eurovision Asia, following its initial attempt to launch the format in 2017. The inaugual edition of the competition is set to take place on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand.
