After we found out that Turin will have the honor of hosting the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, the hard work begins, which includes working on the theme and slogan amongst things. Now, it was revealed that Atelier Francesca Montinaro will have the honor of designing the stage for the 2022 contest. The company has designed stages for numerous, including Sanremo (in 2013 and 2019).
“A very challenging race”
In their statement, the group expressed how honored they are to have the chance to design the stage, and that they can’t wait to reveal their work to the world:

Atelier Francesca Montinaro will perform the scenography of the Eurovision Song Contest stage in Turin 2022!
It was a very challenging race in which we participated with enthusiasm and strong emotions. A chase against the weather that kept us awake until the early hours. But it was worth it, because in the end RAI chose us. We receive this assignment with honor and we will work to hand over to Italy a stage that shows the soul of Italians to Europe and the world.
We would like to say a lot, tell more, but we can’t reveal any details. From now on, months of intense but beautiful work begin for us to get to the opening of this third Italian edition of Eurovision.See you all in May!
Eurovision Song Contest 2022
Italy won the right to host the 2022 Eurovision Contest after Måneskin won the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. Since then, Turin was selected to host the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, which is due to take place on 10th, 12th, and 14th May. It’s been revealed that 41 countries will be competing in the 66th edition of the competition with Armenia & Montenegro returning to the competition.
