Atelier Francesca Montinaro have stated they wanted to the stage concept to represent Italy. She wanted to show off the sun, the sea, the art and the nature of Italy. It is also stated in the Ansa Culture article she wanted the stage to not just represent the country, but Italian people themselves.
I immediately thought that talking about Italian beauties was actually talking about our creativity, which is itself an absolute artistic. We are always on the move, in all fields, we are always looking for a solution that makes us rise again”
