🇧🇬 Bulgaria confirms participation in Junior Eurovision 2022

Bulgaria has become the latest country to confirm its participation at Junior Eurovision 2022. Eurovision news site ESC Plus has posted a Twitter conversation with the Bulgarian delegation confirming that they will once again participate in next year’s contest.

Bulgaria returned to Junior Eurovision this year following a five-year break.

What do we know about Junior Eurovision 2022?

Junior Eurovision 2022 will take place in Armenia following Malena’s victory with Qami Qami in Paris. We do not yet have a confirmed date or location.

Bulgaria in Junior Eurovision

In 2007, Bulgaria made its debut at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, where Bon-Bon represented them with the song “Bonbolandiya” (Бонболандия), where they placed 7th. Since their debut, they have participated six times, and have hosted the competition once in 2015. Following their participation in 2016, Bulgaria took a break from Junior Eurovision, returning in 2021 with Denislava and Martin, who performed Voice of Love. They finished in 16th place with 77 points overall.
