With the recent conclusion of the 19th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, some of the participating countries are quick to confirm that they will take part in the 20th edition of the competition in Paris. The next country to confirm they will be present is Poland. Dziennik Eurowizyjny reports that they will be participating in the next edition after Sara’s 2nd place finish in Paris. It is yet to be confirmed how Poland will select their 2022 representative.
What do we know about Junior Eurovision 2022?
Junior Eurovision 2022 will take place in Armenia following Malena’s victory with “Qami Qami” in Paris. At the time of writing, it is yet to be confirmed when or where the competition will take place in 2022.
The countries so far who have publicly confirmed that they will be participating in Armenia are:
- Armenia (Host Country)
- Bulgaria
- Poland
- The Netherlands

Poland’s Junior Eurovision Journey
In 2003, Poland was one of the countries that participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, where they were represented by Katarzyna ลปurawik with the song “Coล mnie nosi” which placed 16th. Poland participated for another year, before going on a 12-year break and returning in 2016. Since returning to the competition, they have participated six times and managed to achieve a back-to-back win in 2018 and 2019.
Their recent participation in 2021, saw them being represented by Sara James, with the song “Somebody” which placed 2nd overall, receiving 218 points from the jury and online vote combined.
