Earlier this year Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra won Eurovision 2022. After touring around Europe, and reaching the conclusion of their North American tour, it has now been confirmed they will be performing at the MTV EMAs on Sunday the 13th of November in Düsseldorf.
Kalush Orchestra following in Måneskin’s footsteps
Kalush Orchestra are the second successive Eurovision winner to perform at the EMAs. Last year’s Eurovision winner Måneskin also performed their song “Mammamia” at the event, as well as winning the award for the Best Rock Act of 2021.
Kalush Orchestra will also not be the only act present at MTV EMAs. Several Eurovision and National Final Artists are nominated for awards at this year’s event, which include the 2022 Swiss representative Marius Bear.
Sam Ryder to present at MTV EMAs
As well as Kalush Orchestra’s performance, it has also been announced that Eurovision runner up Sam Ryder will also be presenting at the MTV EMAs alongside Leomie Anderson and Julian Lennon. At Eurovision, Sam scored 466 points with his song “SPACE MAN”.
