🇪🇸 Music Video for Sandra Valero’s Junior Eurovision 2023 entry “LOVIU” released

After the release of her entry earlier this month, the wait for the music video for “LOVIU” is over as RTVE unveils the music video for “LOVIU” which is Sandra Valero’s entry for Spain at Junior Eurovision 2023.

A music video that takes you on a journey

The music video was directed by Jimmy Llamas, whose aim was to show Sandra’sdreamg of travelling and seeing the world, with vintage aesthetics incorporated within the video. The music video was choreographed by Vicky Gómez who joined the team once again, as the choreographer for the music video, as well as the choreography for Spain’s staging in Nice after undertaking the same role in 2021 and 2022.

Spain’s Junior Eurovision Journey

Spain has taken part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest a total of 8 times, with their first participation coming in the first edition of the Contest in 2003. In the initial Contest, Spain was represented by Sergio singing “Desde el cielo”, and at the close of voting Spain finished in second place, earning 125 points. Spain would go on to win the next edition of the show with María Isabel’s “Antes Muerte Que Sencilla”, finishing with 171 points.

Spain’s most recent participation was in 2022, when Carlos Higes represented the nation with his song “Señorita” in Yerevan. At the close of voting, Spain finished 6th in a field of 16 participants. Spain earned 137 points – 78 of which came from the online vote. The remaining 59 points were awarded by professional juries across Europe.
