As the year draws to a close, more and more countries continue to reveal if they are participating in Eurovision Young Musicians 2024. We have a non-participation confirmed, as The Netherlands reveals it will not be present at the next edition of the competition.
3rd consecutive non-participation for The Netherlands
The Netherlands’ non-participation in the 21st edition of the competition was revealed by NTR to Eurovoix. The broadcaster did not mention their reason for non-participation, but in 2016, the broadcaster withdrew from the competition, due to significant budget cuts at NTR.
What we know about Eurovision Young Musicians 2024
Earlier in the year, it has been revealed that Norwegian broadcaster NRK and the city of Bodø will be the hosts of the 21st edition of Eurovision Young Musicians, which will take place on Stromen Concert Hall on the 17th August 2024.
