One year on since the last edition of Eurovision Young Musicians took place in Montellier, France, the EBU has revealed that NRK will be host broadcaster of Eurovision Young Musicians 2024, with the competition taking place in Bodo.
Competition to take place during Bodo’s tenure as European Capital of Culture
The 21st edition of the competition will be taking place in Bodo on August 17, 2024, right when Bodo will be the European Capital of Culture alongside Bas Ischl and Tartu. At the time of writing, the venue, alongside the countries participating in next year’s competition is yet to be confirmed.
Eurovision Young Musicians 2022
In 2022, the 20th edition of Eurovision Young Musicians took place in Montpellier, France, after a two year delay, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 9 countries (Croatia, France, Poland, Germany, Austria, Norway, Belgium, Sweden and Czech Republic) took part in the competition, with Czech Republic’s Daniel MatejΔa scoring the country’s first win in the competition.
