The Eurovision news just keeps on coming. Ukraine’s broadcaster Suspilne Media have announced the 9 song long-list competing for the 11th spot in the Vidbir 2024 final.
Who made the nine song long-list?
Below are the nine songs that made the Vidbir long list.

The Ukranian public now have the chance to have their say on the Ukrainian government app Diyi, and the lucky act will make the final addition to the line-up. The remaining songs will then be released in January, ahead of the national final in February 3.
What we already know about Vidbir 2024?
Earlier this year, public broadcaster Suspilne announced the longlist of artists competing in the selection. Following this release, organisers then whittled down the competing artists to just ten. These ten who were announced last month, will be performing in Vidbir 2024, hoping to represent Ukraine in Malmö.
The 10 acts competing in the final on February 3rd 2024 are as follows:

Ukraine’s Eurovision Journey
Ukraine is one of the most successful countries to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. The country has scored eight top-five placements, with an extra four top-ten finishes. Ukraine won the Contest three times – in 2004, 2016 and 2022 respectively. Ukraine made history for being the first ex-Soviet country to win the Contest more than once.
In 2023, TVORCHI represented Ukraine as co-host entry in Liverpool with their song “Heart of Steel”. The duo finished in 6th place, scoring 243 points – of which 54 points came from the jury, whilst the remaining 189 points came from the televote.
