In a post on Instagram, Poland’s representative Luna has announced the team behind the staging of her Eurovision 2024 song The Tower.

Team with Eurovision experience

Jerry Reeve has been named as The Tower’s Art Director, it won’t be his first time at the contest, having staged James Newman’s “Embers” in 2021. He’s also worked with the likes of Taylor Swift and John Legend, and is currently the Creative Director at The Voice UK.

Lukas McFarlane will has been named as the performance’s choreographer, you may know him for his work on Saara Aalto’s Monsters from Eurovision 2018, in addition to that, he’s been a choreographer for both the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing in the UK. McFarlane will be assisted by Kamila Zalewska, a Polish choreographer and dance teacher based in London.

About Luna

Luna sings in both Polish and English, and describes her sound as “cosmic pop”. She is signed to Universal Music Polska, and her debut album Nocne zmory was released in 2022. In February, She was internally selected by a TVR jury to represent Poland with “The Tower”.

Poland’s Eurovision Journey

In 1994, Poland made their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest, when Edyta Górniak represented them with the song “To nie ja!”, and placed 2nd, which is Poland’s best result at the contest to date. Since then, Poland has participated 25 times, qualifying for the Grand Final 16 times.

Poland’s recent Eurovision participation saw them being represented by Blanka, who competed with “Solo”. Performing during the second semi-final, Poland qualified for the final. At the close of voting at the Grand Final, she managed to place 19th with 93 points. Of these, 12 came from the jury, whilst 81 came from the televote.
