It’s a sweltering summer across the continent, the biggest festivals have for the most part come and gone, and it feels like everyone is away on holiday. That hasn’t stopped artists from releasing plenty of new music to dig our teeth into though! Once again I handpicked the best and biggest releases of the month for your ears to enjoy. This month’s round-up includes: Within Temptation, a non-Eurovision Ingrosso, and Nasty Evil Gays!
If you want to jump straight to a specific section, here’s a list of pages, each filled to the brim with new music:
- The 2025 entries
- The Winners
- Other Highlights – Song of the month is here
- Now That’s What I Call… The Extended Eurovision Universe (artists from NFs, JESC, intervals, and more) – EP and album of the month are here
The 2025 entries
Gabry Ponte, T78 – “Daitarn”
The unstoppable force that is Gabry Ponte continued his busy release schedule with “Daitarn”, a hard dance track ready for the clubs and festivals. Not quite my vibe, but I think it makes a good addition to the playlist for people who are into this style of music.
Braaten – “I’m Yours (feat. EMMY)”
EMMY is the queen of collabs, and she proves it once again this month by featuring as a vocalist. This time, Braaten got to utilize her voice on new track “I’m Yours”, which is a bizarre-but-surprisingly-fun cover of the Jason Mraz song. What 00s hit will Emmy cover next? Only time will tell.
Gulli, VÆB – “CASHNÚNA”, VÆB – “RÓA (AXMO Remix)”
Besides the classic move of releasing a remix of their Eurovision entry, energetic Icelandic duo VÆB also found the time to collab with Gulli for “CASHNÚNA”, which is probably the most upbeat song about wanting cash and wanting it now that I have heard in a long time.
Justyna Steczkowska – “Tańcz”, “Dom Naszego Ojca”, Staszek z Gór, Justyna Steczkowska – “Pójdę Tam”
After doing so much on the Eurovision stage it kinda exhausted me just watching it, Justyna now hits us with three very different tracks in one month. “Tańcz” (Dance) is a summery, upbeat pop track. “Pójdę Tam” (I’ll Go There) is a folk-pop-rock track, and “Dom Naszego Ojca” (Our Father’s House) is an emotional ballad. Find out more about all three tracks in the article below:
Katarsis – “Kas man be jūros”
Personal faves Katarsis add to their ever-expanding discography with new track “Kas man be jūros” (What is there for me without the sea?”. Check out the song and read more about it here:
KAJ – “Mosquito”
Sweden and especially Finland have tons of lakes, which perhaps explains the high amount of surprisingly vicious mosquitoes in both countries. It’s only fitting then that KAJ’s new summer track is named “Mosquito”. Find out more about the song in our article:
Zoë Më – “Million de Mois”
She took us on a “Voyage” at Eurovision, and now Zoë Më treats us to “Million de Mois” (Million Months). You can check out the song and read more about it in our article:
Marko Bosnjak – “Villain”
The man of the poison cake is embracing his “Villain” status with this new song. Listen to the track and read more about it here:
Remember Monday – “Happier”
A new song by Remember Monday? Yes, the girls have finally freed themselves from the endless remixes and are all the “Happier” for it. Read more about it here:
Miriana Conte – “GHAJJEJT (i8)”
“GHAJJEJT” (VOICES) is the title of Miriana Conte’s new track. Watch the music video and find out more about the song down below:
