Summer is knocking at the door, festival season has truly arrived, and the Eurovision universe feels fairly quiet. That didn’t stop a bunch of artists from releasing a bunch of new music however! Once again I handpicked the best and biggest releases of the month for your ears to enjoy. This month’s round-up includes: , too many remixes, and… a Jonas Brother???

If you want to jump straight to a specific section, here’s a list of pages, each filled to the brim with new music:

The 2025 entries

Zoë Më – “Voyage (feat. Louane)”

We start things off with a Louane triple header, as she has been very very busy this month. While all three songs are good, easily the best one of the three is her teaming up with Zoë Më to turn this absolutely stunning song into a duet. Louane’s vocals add a different characteristic to the music making this version really its own thing even if it is otherwise identical.

Louane, Dan Black – “Orchestra (20th Anniversary Version)”

Singer-songwriter Dan Black revisited songs he made with his former band The Servant and turned it into new music. This 20th Anniversary Version of “Orchestra” is an interesting mix of rock and electronic influences fusing into an alt track that features Louane’s vocals at multiple points throughout, both in French and English.

Joe Jonas – “Hey Beautiful”

I never expected to write about new music by one of the *checks notes* Jonas Brothers, but here we are. Louane’s June trilogy was completed by her feature on his track “Hey Beautiful”. The song is a gentle, sweet love song.

Klemen – “Golden Hour” (LP)

While he didn’t make it to the final, Klemen has been busy releasing new music recently. Those new releases culminated into this “Golden Hour” album. The 11 track effort includes Eurovision entry “How Much Time Do We Have Left” and other songs that all fit more or less into the adult contemporary sphere.

Red Sebastian – “SLAY”

Belgium’s Red Sebastian is ready to “SLAY” at clubs and festivals with his new song. It is distinctively not for me and a bit more laid back and poppy than his Eurovision effort “Strobe Lights”, but still most definitely a Red Sebastian song.

Gabry Ponte, Nicky Romero – “Rave Music”

If you were wondering which 2025 artist will make the most appearances in the round-up until May 2026, I think we have our guy here. Gabry Ponte teamed up with Nicky Romero to make “Rave Music”, which the song helpfully spells out multiple times in its intro before it gets going proper. Expect to hear this at a rave near you soon.

Princ – “Lejla”

Also offering up some new music is Princ. And no, besides the name of the song this softrock ballad has nothing to do with the 2006 Bosnian & Herzegovinan Eurovision entry by Hari Mata Hari.

EMMY & Karlavagnen – “Rena Lakan”

Ireland’s 2025 rep EMMY joins Karlavagnen in the studio to make new music. The result is “Rena Lakan” (Clean Sheets), a fitting title for a rather sleepy, relaxed ballad.

Theo Evan – “Feggaria Kalokairina”

“Feggaria Kalokairina” (Summer Moons) is the new song by Theo Evan. This feels a bit schlager-y or dansband-adjacent to me, and honestly? His vocals are a great fit for that kind of thing.

Remixes and the like

These are remixes or other different or new versions of previously released songs that there just isn’t much to say about.

Kyle Alessandro – “Lighter (from NRK scenen)”

This is a orchestral version of Eurovision track “Lighter”. It’s surprisingly fun, although I feel that it could’ve been even better if the time had been taken to adjust the vocals more to the different instrumentation.

Umami Tsunami – “Geronimo (Summer Flip)”

Speaking of Kyle Alessandro, did you know he once was a member of Umami Tsunami? He has since left the group, but they have rereleased their MGP entry “Geronimo” as a Summer Flip version. And as it is largely based on the original version of the song, Kyle still gets a credit on it. Which also means some of the worst lyrics in the English language remain in this version.

Abor & Tynna – “Baller (English Edit)”

They just can’t stop doing translations of “Baller”, huh? Following the Hungarian version Abor & Tynna now also have an English Edit of their Eurovision entry.

Remember Monday – “What The Hell Just Happened? (Journey By A DJ Remix)”, “What The Hell Just Happened? (Dougal McGregor Remix)”

If you’ve been asking for even more “What The Hell Just Happened?” remixes, Remember Monday got you covered. Journey By A DJ makes it sound like the 00s remix of a 90s dancetrack, while Dougal McGregor turns it into a track you expect to hear in a film as we enter a nightclub.
