Suspilne has officially announced the presenters for Vidbir 2026! The hosting duo will be Timur Miroshnychenko and Lesya Nikityuk, who will guide audiences through the live final on February 7.
About the hosts
Timur Miroshnychenko is a long-time face of Ukraineโs Eurovision coverage, having served as commentator and host for numerous editions of the contest and related events. Lesya Nikityuk will be making her first appearance as a Vidbir presenter, bringing fresh energy to this yearโs show. The Vidbir 2026 pre-show will be presented by Anna Tuleva, the familiar face behind Eurovision Ukraineโs video blog. She will also take part in the main broadcast as the host of the Eurofan Zone, a brand-new feature being introduced to Vidbir this year. The pre-show is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM local time, ahead of the main event. She explained:
“For me, Vidbir is always not just a show, but a moment when you literally feel the pulse of Eurovision. Being the host of the first zone of Eurofans is about energy, sincere emotions and constant dialogue with people who live this music as much as I do. There is no fakery here: every reaction is real, every story is alive. I really appreciate the trust to be this voice and this bridge between the stage and the fans. For me, it is a great responsibility and at the same time absolute happiness.“
Lesya Nikityuk told:
“This year I will be hosting Vidbir for the first time and I am very nervous. But the love for music and constant curiosity for new participants have never left my soul. For many years now I have not missed Vidbir and Eurovision, I always write down my top 5 songs in a notebook, although I never guess the winner, but I tirelessly believe that I still understand music. I want to emphasize once again that for me this is not just a show that I am going to host โ Eurovision is something that I have been really interested in for many years.“
Timur Miroshnychenko added:
“Iโm sure it will be special. Lesya and I have worked a lot at various events, but we have never met on the air, on the stage of a large-scale concert. This will be our debut on the big screens together. I know that Eurovision has long wanted to see Lesya. I hope that Lesya also wanted to be on the Vidbir stage. In the end, this match happened, I am happy to be in such company and I am sure that it will be interesting, extraordinary, and in places even epic.“
