Eurovision in Vienna is just less than a month away. In the lead-up to the start of rehearsals, we will get to know a bit more about this year’s artists, their discography, and their Eurovision 2026 journey so far. The next artist in this year’s preview is Albania’s Alis.
Alis’ Eurovision journey so far
Look Mum No Computer was first announced to be the British act for Eurovision on February 17th, with his song “Eins Zwei Drei” being revealed on March 6th. He will now represent the UK at Eurovision at the Eurovision final on May 16th, but will also perform at the second semi-final.
Alis’ song for Eurovision – “Nân” – was written by Alis himself, as well as Desara Gjini.

Who is Alis?
Alis Kallaçi is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter born in Shkoder in northern Albania. Showing an early interest in music, Alis was trained in classical music, earning a diploma in the piano at the prestigious Prenk Jakova Art School. He first shot to fame in 2024 when he competed on Albania’s version of The X Factor, going on to win the show whilst under the guidance of Eurovision 2020 alum Arilena Ara. He competed in Festivali i Këngës in 2025, finishing in third place. He returned the following year and won the competition outright.
Albania’s Eurovision journey
In 2004, Albania made their debut into the Eurovision Song Contest with Anjeza Shahini with “Image of You”, which placed 7th in the final. Since their debut, Albania has participated 20 times, and made the final 10 times. They achieved their best result in 2012, where Rona Nishliu placed 5th with “Suus”.
Shkodra Elektronike represented Albania in the 2025 Contest in Basel with “Zjerm”. The duo made it to the Grand Final, where they ultimately finished in 8th place with 218 points. 173 of these came from the televote, while the remaining 45 points came from the jury.
