Denmark’s Eurovision 2025 entrant, and two time Dansk Melodi Grand Prix Finalist Sissal is back with a new single. The Faroese singer has released her latest track, “Blond For Dig” (Blonde For You).
About “Blond For Dig”
Faroese singer-songwriter Sissal has today released her latest single “Blond For Dig”. The track is an electronic dance-pop record, sung entirely in Danish. “Blond For Dig” details the lengths a person can go to for someone else’s approval. Sissal sings of attempting to change yourself in order to fit somebody’s expectations of you.
“Blond For Dig” is the singer’s second release since performing on the DMGP stage earlier in the year. The track follows the success of May’s “XOXO” single from Sissal. The song was written by Sissal, Valdemar Littauer and Clara Sofie Fabricius, who recently worked on Denmark’s Eurovision 2026 entry “Før Vi Går Hjem”.
The singer took to Instagram to explain the meaning behind the song. Sissal told fans:
I LOVE this song and I can’t quite explain why?? Maybe because it hits the spot, I think many of us have tried.
All the songs we’re working on at the moment are about a journey through heartbreak, disappointment, bitterness and everything that could have turned into something and the lengths one can go for another human being.
After XOXO, which was pure bitterness, comes “Blond For Dig”. A song about the lengths you go to for someone else to please them in hopes that you will eventually be chosen. About being so willing to change, give more and stretch further, just to be what they need. BUT!!!! Never explain to anyone how you deserve to be treated. REMEMBER IT

Sissal’s Eurovision history
Sissal entered Denmark’s Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (DMGP) national final in 2025 with the song “Hallucination”. The singer placed first in the superfinal round, winning the selection show by just a single point and earning the right to represent the country at Eurovision 2026 in Basel. In Basel, Sissal qualified for the final, breaking Denmark’s five-year non-qualification streak. She would eventually finish in 23rd place, earning 47 points. Of these, 45 came from juries, while 2 came from the televote.
In 2026, Sissal attempted to represent Denmark at the Song Contest for a second consecutive time. The singer entered the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix national final with the song “Infinity”. Sissal would ultimately reach the superfinal round of DGMP once again, however this time she placed 3rd behind Ericka Jane and eventual winner Søren Torpegaard Lund.
