The EBU has confirmed that TikTok will be the official entertainment partner for Eurovision 2022. The social media outlet will deliver content from the competing Eurovision 2022 artists throughout the contest. TikTok’s Eurovision hashtag has had 3.7 billion views over the years. The 2021 contest received 1.4 billion views. This year TikTok hopes to help fans feel closer to this year’s participants from rehearsal through to the live shows.

Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, Martin Österdahl had the following to say about the TikTok partnership.

The TikTok community really embraced the Eurovision Song Contest last year and now we’re looking forward to giving them unprecedented access to the world’s largest live music event and inspiring a whole new generation of fans.’

Eurovision Song Contest 2022
Italy won the right to host the 2022 Eurovision Contest after Måneskin won the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. Since then, Turin was selected to host the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, which is due to take place on the 10th, 12th, and 14th of May. 41 countries were set to be competing in the 66th edition of the competition with Armenia & Montenegro returning to the competition. However, Russia will not be participating in this year’s competition.
Ahead of the competition, it was revealed that Rockin 1,000 will be part of the show and that Eurovillage will be returning in 2022, and will be located in Parco del Valentino.
The slogan for this year’s Eurovision is “The Sound of Beauty” and you can see more about how the stage fits in with the concept here!
