2026 Eurovision artists
🇷🇴 Alexandra Căpitănescu – “Choke Me”
🇵🇹 Bandidos do Cante – “Fora da Lei”
Bandidos do Cante represented Portugal in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest after winning Porugal’s Festival da Canção. The all male group performed the song “Rosa” in the first Semi-Final in Vienna, but failed to qualify for the Saturday Grand Final – Portugal’s first time missing out on qualification for a Grand Final since 2019. This week, the boys from Portugal are back with a new single, “Fora da Lei”. The track is a sweet, Portuguese language, country-pop song with tonnes of heart. If you liked their Eurovision entry, you will like this. The addition of Carolina de Deus’ vocals to the band already beautiful tone adds a whole new level.
2025 Eurovision artists

🇵🇹 NAPA – “Semitrópico”
🇧🇪 Red Sebastian – “Dance (‘Til I Die)”
🇦🇱 Shkodra Elektronike – “Me Dashtë”

🇮🇹 Angelina Mango – “Vita da adulti”
Angelina Mango became the first female artist to represent Italy in the Song Contest since 2016, when she took to the Eurovision stage in Malmö in 2024. The singer-songwriter placed 7th in the Grand Final of the 2024 Contest with her up-beat dance-pop track “La noia”. Angelina’s latest single, “Vita da adulti”, is a more soulful, emotional pop-ballad than her Eurovision entry. This is full of feels and shows Angelina in a beautifully romantic light. Stunning.
🇺🇦 alyona, alyona – “Холодний дощ”
Rapper, singer-songwriter and all round Ukrainian superstar alyona alyona has links to both the Junior and adult Eurovision in recent years. She is, of course, most known for her third place finish in the Grand Final of the Contest in 2024, with Jerry Heil and the song “Teresa & Maria”. alyona alyona has also served as a jury member for the Ukrainian jury, during the 2021 Contest, and more recently has taken a prominent role in the Ukrainian Junior Eurovision delegation. This week, the musician is back with new single “Холодний дощ”. The song is a heartfelt, rap-ballad (if the mix of those two genres makes sense here), that has an eery darkness to it. alyona alyona is magical.
🇸🇮 Raiven – “Ofelija re-vamp (Remix)”
Raiven represented Slovenia in the 2024 Contest in Malmö with her electro-opera song “Veronika”, co-written with Joker Out’s Bojan Cvjetićanin. She finished 23rd in the 2024 Grand Final. This week, Raiven has dropped a new “re-vamp” edit of her track “Ofelia” in time for the October spooky season. The original version of the song featured on her 2024 album “Sirene, Pt.1” and was a great track then. But this vamp-tastic edit of the track is perfect for a halloween party with a Eurovision twist. Raiven’s vocal is stunning on this track, and it really needs to be heard in both forms.
🇪🇸 Nebulossa – “La Geisha”
Nebulossa perfromed in the Grand Final in Malmö in 2024, representing Spain with the fan-favourite Spanish funk-pop song “Zorra”. This week, the duo have released a less-than-tasteful song, “La Geisha”. I’m finding hard to describe this as anything other than yikes.
🇦🇿 İlkin Dövlətov – “Səhra Çiçəyi”
İlkin Dövlətov accompanied Fahree on the song “Özünlə apar” for Azerbaijan at the Contest in Malmö. The pair failed to qualify from the first semi-final of the contest, but both have gone on to have relative success within Azerbaijan independently of each other. İlkin’s most recent single “Səhra Çiçəyi” is a soulful, jazzy track with plenty of vocal flourishes and horns. This makes me want a wine in the sun.
