As the pre-party circuit begins next weekend, more names are being revealed for next month’s Polish Eurovision Party. This time, the organisers have revealed the latest act in the line-up is Diljá. She will be representing Iceland at Eurovision 2023 with her song “Power”. She will be one of the performers at Praga Centrum on April 1.
In addition to the London Eurovision Party, Diljá will also attend the Barcelona Eurovision Party on March 25th and Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam on April 8th.

About the Pre-Party: The newest pre-party on the block, the Polish Eurovision Party has its first event in the Summer of 2022 where numerous of former Eurovision participants performed for the crowd. For 2023, the party has been brought forward in time for the Eurovision 2023 season, and will take place on April 1 at Praga Centrum. The event will be hosted by Konrad Zemlik and Poli Genova.

Acts: At the time of writing, Joker Out (Slovenia 2023), Wild Youth (Ireland 2023), Sudden Lights (Latvia 2023), Alika (Estonia 2023), Monika Linkytė (Lithuania 2023), Piqued Jacks (San Marino 2023), Mae Muller (United Kingdom 2023), Reiley (Denmark 2023), The Busker (Malta 2023), Pasha Parfeni (Moldova 2023), Let 3 (Croatia 2023) and Diljá (Iceland 2023) have been announced as the performers, whilst Ochman (Poland 2022), Oceana (Unser Song für Dänemark), Senhit (San Marino 2011, 2020, and 2021), Viki Gabor (Junior Eurovision 2019 Winner), Gromee (Poland 2018), Anne-Marie David (Luxemboug 1973 & France 1979), Felivers (Tu Bije Serce Europy! 2023), Eye Cue (North Macedonia 2018), Lindsay Dracass (United Kingdom 2001) and Filip Baloš (Pesma za Evroviziju 2023) have been announced as special guest.
Iceland’s Eurovision journey
Iceland made its debut on the Eurovision stage in 1986, finishing 16th with the song “Gleðibankinn” (Bank of fun) by ICY. In their 34 appearances, Iceland has finished in top 10 an impressive 7 times. Their best result to date is second place, which they have achieved twice. The first time was in 1999, where Selma Björnsdóttir received 146 points for her performance of “All out of luck”. The second time was in 2009, with Yohanna singing “Is It True” and receiving 218 points. Iceland’s most recent representative on the Eurovision stage was Systur, singing “Með hækkandi sól”, finishing 23rd with 20 points.
