The city of Nice’s volunteer website has put out a call for volunteers to assist with Junior Eurovision 2023. The ad describes the upcoming event as offering “a unique opportunity to collaborate with young artists around the world, as well as TV production”.
Who are they looking for?
Firstly, the organization is seeking delegation hosts to welcome the artists upon their arrival. The delegation hosts supervise the artists within Nikaïa Palace’s rehearsals, dressing room, and viewing room, as well as assist in transport between Nikaïa Palace, the artist’s hotel, and Junior Eurovision events taking place elsewhere in the city. Additionally, the delegation hosts support the delegation during free time in Nice. Eligible volunteers must live in or be able to commute to Nice; speak English, as well as the language of one of the participating countries; and be available during the last full week of November, when the competition takes place.
They are also seeking volunteers for caterers, logistical assistants, and staff for the press center and information center. These volunteers have all the same requirements as the delegation hosts, with the exception that fluency in a foreign language is not required as much as strongly preferred.
