🇱🇺 One Last Time: “We want to represent rock music in the best way possible”

Luxembourg is continuing its preparations for Luxembourg Song Contest 2024. As the artists gear up for the final on January 27th, Jazzi speaks to One Last Time. They are vying to represent Luxembourg in Malmö with their song “Devil in the Detail”.

During the interview Jazzi and the band spoke about their experiences on stage, and how that will differ in the national final. They also spoke about the artists in the rock industry that influence their music. They also commented on how it would be a honour to represent Luxembourg after the country has spent 31 years away from the contest.

About One Last Time

One Last Time are a five-piece rock band from Luxembourg. Members of the band include Andrea Galleti, Jonathan Fersino, Barbara Salvi, Tom Sagramola, Alessandro Sorbelli. They have been releasing music together since 2022, however as individuals have 25 years experience performing in the industry.

Luxembourg’s Eurovision Journey

Luxembourg first made its debut in the first edition of the Contest in 1956, with their first entries being “Ne crois pas” and “Les amants de minuit”, both performed by Michèle Arnaud. Since the first Contest, Luxembourg has competed a total of 37 times. Their best result was finishing in 1st place five times – in 1961, 1965, 1972, 1973 and 1983 respectively.

Luxembourg last took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993, when Modern Times represented the nation with the song “Donne-moi une chance”. At the close of voting, Luxembourg finished 20th in a field of 25 with 11 points. Following this participation, Luxembourg withdrew from the Contest, but is returning to the Contest in time for 2024.
