Slimane, who is representing France in Eurovision 2024 with “Mon Amour,” has been confirmed as one of the acts at Eurovision in Concert 2024. Eurovision in Concert will take place April 13th.
The Amsterdam pre-party is the second pre-party that the singer has been announced for so far, as he will also perform at London Eurovision Party on April 7th.
Eurovision In Concert 2024
You are now able to purchase your tickets for Eurovision in Concert 2024 on TicketmasterNL. There are three ticket options.
- Early Access Ticket, which will allow you entry into the venue 15 minutes before regular ticketholders (SOLD OUT)
- Seated Tickets (SOLD OUT)
- Regular tickets – €59.50
Acts: The acts confirmed at the time of writing are: Joost Klein (The Netherlands 2024), Besa (Albania 2024), Raiven (Slovenia 2024), Aiko (Czechia 2024), and Slimane (France 2024). Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009, 2018) will perform as a special guest at the main event and afterparty.
It has also been confirmed that Cornald Mass and Charlotte Perrelli will host Eurovision In Concert 2024.
France’s Eurovision History
France is a powerhouse in Eurovision, debuting in the first Contest in 1956. Their first entries finished in second place, but no scores were ever published. Since then, France has gone on to win the Contest five times. The most recent win came in 1977, with Marie Myriam’s “L’enfant et l’oiseau”, scoring 136 points.France has seen a rebirth in results following a change in direction in 2016. Amir finished in 6th position for France with “J’ai cherché”, followed by 12th, 13th and 16th places respectively.
For 2023, France moved away from a national selection and internally chose La Zarra with her song “Évidemment”. At the close of voting in Liverpool, France finished in 16th place, earning 104 points. Of these, 54 points were given by the juries, whilst the televote allocated an extra 50 points to France.
