Today rehearsals for Junior Eurovision 2024 kicked off in Madrid. Countries rehearsing on Day 1 include Georgia, Italy, Cyprus, Albania, Ukraine, Estonia, Armenia, North Macedonia and Spain. The sixth country to rehearse today is Estonia’s ANNABELLE.
What did we learn about ANNABELLE’s staging?
Disclaimer: Please note that the EBU has not released footage from the first rehearsals, and that the description detailed in this article is mainly based from the pictures and if available footage from the delegations themselves.

ANNABELLE’s staging is defined by the long portrait depiction of a city street behind her, and the energy in her performance reflects its colours and dynamism. She is dressed in pink with black details, and her two dancers put the singer into focus by dressing in black
If you are interested in seeing more pictures from ANNABELLE’s first rehearsal today, you can look through them right here.
Who is ANNABELLE?
ANNABELLE is a 13-year-old pianist and singer from Tartu, Estonia. She has been singing since the age of 6. Outside of her music, Annabelle loves the outdoors and sports and is an accomplished track runner, excelling in the 60-metre sprint.
Annabelle was the first act to be selected for Junior Eurovision 2024. She won Tähtede lava, a pre-existing youth talent show that now also functions as Estonia’s Junior Eurovision selection, on 5 May. Her song “Tänavad”, which means “Streets”, was released on 4th October.
