๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ KUBA: “I’m fighting for my dreams”

Ahead of his participation in Poland’s Polskie Kwalifikacje next month, Tim had the opportunity to speak with KUBA, who is participating in the Polish selection for a third time with his entry “Pray”

During our interview, Tim and KUBA talked about his participation in the competition, the creation of his entry, what we can expect from his performance next month, as well as his collaboration with Melfest veteran LIAMOO.

About KUBA

Kuba Szmajkowski, mostly known as KUBA is no stranger to Eurovision fans, having already participated in the Polish Eurovision selection on two occasions. In 2022 with “Lovesick” and once again in 2023 with “You Do Me”.

KUBA got his start by participating in the Polish version of The Voice Kids, where he managed to make the final. After his participation on The Voice Kids, he went on to be a part of the group 4Dreamers, which released two studio albums. Since 2021, he started releasing his own music and have released numerous singles.

KUBA will be participating in Poland’s Eurovision 2025 selection with his entry “Pray” which he worked which was composed by Joakim Andersson (Bellman), William Naesh, Angelino Markenhorn, Tom Martensson, with the latter two working on the lyrics.

Poland’s Eurovision journey

In 1994, Poland made their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest represented by Edyta Gรณrniak with the song โ€œTo nie ja!โ€ and placed 2nd, Polandโ€™s best result at the contest to date. Since then, Poland has participated 26 times, qualifying for the Grand Final 16 times.

Poland selected Luna and “The Tower” to represent them at Eurovision 2024. She received 35 points in the televote, placing twelfth in the first semifinal.
