🎟️ First wave of Eurovision 2025 tickets sell out

Earlier today (January 29), the first wave of tickets for Eurovision 2025, which will take place in Basel was released, with this wave of sales a success as all of the tickets have sold out.

42,000 tickets were sold

The tickets for the shows available were sold out within 20 minutes of the sale opening. However, fear not, further wave of tickets sales will occur in the upcoming months, with the exact date to be revealed in due course.

Reto Peritz and Moritz Stadler, the co-producers of Eurovision 2025 comment:

We were overwhelmed by the huge demand and the smooth technical process of the booking. Many thanks to our partner Ticketcorner for their excellent cooperation. It is moving to see how much the Eurovision Song Contest inspires people in our country and all over the world. We can feel how people are looking forward to this year’s event in Basel – and it shows how the ESC builds bridges between cultures and connects hearts.

If you missed out on a ticket today, then fear not, tickets for ‘Arena-Plus’, the Grand Final viewing party which will take place in St. Jakob-Park stadium will go on sale tomorrow, January 30, at 10:00AM CET at ticketcorner.ch.

All About Eurovision 2025

Switzerland will be hosting the 69th edition of the competition following Nemo’s historic win at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö. A few weeks after their win, Reto Peritz, and Moritz Stadler, was announced as the Executive Producers, with the other roles revealed in July 2024.

Basel, Bern & Biel/Bienne, Geneva, and Zurich submitted bids to host next year’s competition, with Basel and Geneva being shortlisted as the final two cities. After the shortlist, it was revealed that Basel will host Eurovision 2025, at St. Jakobshalle with the shows taking place on May 13, 15 and 17.

The visual identity for this year’s contest is “Unity Shapes Love”, which was developed by Art Director Artur Deyneuve, and was inspired by the Swiss tradition of direct democracy, with the message conveyed visually through the iconic Eurovision heart symbol.
