🇳🇴 Kyle Alessandro to perform at Melfest WKND 2025

With Melodifestivalen 2025 due to conclude next week, we are now looking ahead to the final weekend of this year’s contest, where Melfest WKND will take place. Today, it has been announced that Kyle Alessandro, who is representing Norway in Basel, will be among the performers at this year’s event.

Melfest WKND 2025

About the Pre-Party: Melfest WKND, consists of a Pre-Party (held on Friday night before the Melodifestivalen final), and the Main Party after the final of the Swedish selection, Melodifestivalen takes place. This year’s event will be hosted by Filip Baloš & Miss Tobi.

The acts confirmed for this year’s event are as follows:

Friday (March 7): Jerry Heil (Ukraine 2024), Velvet (Melodifestivalen 2006, 2008, 2009), FAME (Sweden 2003), and Kyle Alessandro (Norway 2025) are the acts confirmed so far with QX Ronny, and Mathias Holmgren are the acts confirmed so far.

Saturday (March 8): Jessica Andersson (Sweden 2003 & Melodifestivalen 2006, 2007, 2010, 2015, 2018, 2021), Remo Forrer (Switzerland 2023), Neo (Melodifestivalen 2010) are the acts confirmed so far with Miss Tobi, Reine, Brenda Mandlar providing a Drag Show.

Venue: The show took place at Nalen, an elegant 19th-century building, located in Stockholm.

Norway’s Eurovision Journey

The Scandinavian nation made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960, with Nora Brockstedt and the song “Voi Voi”, which placed 4th. Since their debut, they have participated 62 times, and made the Grand Final 59 of these. In addition, Norway has won the competition three times – in 1985, 1995, and 2009.

Norway’s latest Eurovision participation saw them being represented by Gåte with the song “Ulveham”. After qualifying for the final, Norway placed 25th and last place in the Grand Final, receiving 16 points, 12 of which from the jury and 4 from televoters.
