As the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 edges ever closer, it has been revealed that “United by Music” will become the permanent slogan for the event. This now mirrors the adult Contest, after it was made a permanent slogan in 2024.
Slogan unites Eurovision brands
Speaking to the Euro Trip podcast, Eurovision Director Martin Green said the slogan would help to bring all Eurovision events under the same umbrella. This comes after Spain’s hosting of Junior Eurovision in 2024 using the slogan “Let’s Bloom”.
He added that as a result, the brands within the EBU are now more consistent. On top of this, the iconic heart – which has made up the logo for decades – will remain a key part of the logo itself. However, it will be updated to be similar to that of the adult Contest, which received several negative reviews from fans after it was launched.
Meanwhile, preparations for this year’s Contest are now in full swing. Eighteen countries have confirmed they will be participating in Tbilisi. The Georgian government has also earmarked a total of €2.5 million to help with the production of the show.
The story of Junior Eurovision 2025 so far
Georgia will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 after winning the 2024 edition with “To My Mom”. After initial doubts over whether Georgia would host the Contest, Tbilisi was confirmed to be the host city in May. No official list of participants has been publicly released as yet, but at least eighteen countries have submitted interest. Croatia and Montenegro will return to the competition, while Estonia and Germany will withdraw.
