Eurovision in Vienna is just less than a month away. In the lead-up to the start of rehearsals, we will get to know a bit more about this year’s artists, their discography, and their Eurovision 2026 journey so far. The next artist in this year’s preview is Estonia’s Vanilla Ninja.
Vanilla Ninja’s Eurovision journey so far
Vanilla Ninja caused a stir when they were announced to be competing in Eesti Laul 2026, Estonia’s national selection for Eurovision in Vienna. The selection show, Estonia’s well-known Eesti Laul, was held on Ferbuary 14th, saw Vanilla Ninja finish in sixth place with the juries, with score enough points to make it into the superfinal. Competing against two more songs, Vanilla Ninja’s Eurovision return was confirmed when the trio won the superfinal with a margin of around 1,400 votes between them and second-placed Ollie.
Vanilla Ninja’s song for Eurovision 2026 – “Too Epic to Be True” – was written by entirely by Sven Lõhmus.

In 2025, Estonia elected to send Tommy Cash through Eesti Laul to the Contest with “Espresso Macchiato”. They successfully qualified for the final and finished in 3rd place with 356 points. Of these, 258 points came from the televote, while 98 came from the juries.
