The Winners

Måneskin – “If I Can Dream”

The 2021 winners have released another song since performing new track “Supermodel” at Eurovision. other release is “If I Can Dream,” a cover of the Elvis Presley song for the movie Elvis. Måneskin are part of an impressive line-up of musicians on the soundtrack, which includes Stevie Nicks, Doja Cat, Tame Impala, and more. Måneskin’s version is similar to the original, but the band does put their own twist on it. Switching out the original instruments for Måneskin’s drums, bass, and guitar, the song becomes a powerfully delivered rock ballad.

Loreen – Neon Lights

Queen of Eurovision Loreen has released her first song in a year! “Neon Lights” is a song that first could only be listened to in Swedish Lexus dealerships in one of the more fascinating brand deals of the year. But the song is now out for everyone to hear, and we have a music video to go along with it! The song is a synth-pop affair and such a bop that I will just let it speak for itself.

Conchita Wurst – Paris (Savoir-Vivre)

2014 winner Conchita adds another language to his discography! New single “Paris (Savoir-Vivre)” sees Conchita singing in English and French in this Pride month track calling on people to see every place “as a catwalk and present yourself exactly the way you want to be”. In a press release on Conchita’s website, the song is described as being:

about the art of enjoying life and getting rid, layer by layer, of the armor we have put on ourselves over the course of our lives. In keeping with Pride Month, [Conchita] encourages being true to oneself and investing most of one’s energy into shaping one’s character rather than fashion or other unnecessary status symbols.
