🇲🇰 Nela Mančeska to represent North Macedonia at Junior Eurovision 2025

MRT has internally chosen 13‑year‑old Nela Mančeska as North Macedonia’s representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Tbilisi, Georgia, following auditions held earlier this month in Skopje. Nela is the third artist to be confirmed for Junior Eurovision 2025, following Marianna Kłos for Poland and Kroni Pula for Albania.

North Macedonia’s rising JESC 2025 star

Nela impressed the selection panel with her extraordinary vocal skills, musical maturity, and strong stage presence. She has already earned awards in several international competitions, confirming her status as one of the country’s most promising young performers.

While MRT has confirmed Nela as its act, it hasn’t yet revealed how her song will be chosen. Updates about the track, production team, and staging are expected in the coming weeks.

North Macedonia’s Junior Eurovision journey

North Macedonia debuted in Junior Eurovision in the first edition of the Contest in Copenhagen in 2003. Their first entry was “Ti ne me poznavaš”, performed by Marija and Viktorija. At the close of voting, the duo finished in 12th place, earning 19 points. Since then, North Macedonia have taken part in 18 editions of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The only years which did not feature a North Macedonian artist were in 2012, 2014 and 2020; the last due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2024, the duo Ana and Aleksej represented North Macedonia with the song “Marathon”. They scored 54 total points, receiving 20 from the jury and 34 from the online vote, for an overall sixteenth place out of seventeen.
